He’s toured America 26 times and opened for the likes of Donovan, Of Montreal, Cat Power, and Guided by Voices to name a select few. His songs have been featured on This American Life, MTV, and Public Radio International. For years critics have heralded Mark Mallman as one of America’s greatest living unknown songwriters.

As the front man for Kindercore records electro/house/rock act, Ruby Isle – or composer for major motion picture trailers such as Wall-E, 10,000 BC, and Vacancy – or film columnist for a Minneapolis weekly newspaper, Mark Mallman has accomplished more creatively than most artists twice his age. Unlike ANY other artist, he’s performed the longest rock song ever written, a piano solo with the rear tire of a full sized motor scooter, and for 10 hours inside of a refrigerator box.

“You’ve not really lived until you’ve seen Mark Mallman ride his keyboard!”
-DENVER POST

“…engaging ballads and forceful pop tunes…”
- ROLLING STONE

Lyrics

Hey!
I got something to talk about!
A lot of people been coming to me lately
Wearin’ trouble in the corners of their eyes
Is it true about me and you baby
And all that talk about secrets and lies
Who would die first in a movie like this?
No one ever died in life by breaking up
Do you feel like breaking up?

No do you feel like breaking up?

And every move felt right
I held you close and I whispered in your ear
What’s wrong with being in love?
What’s right with being here?
Oh who would die first in a movie like this?
No one ever died in life by breaking up
Do you feel like breaking up?

No do you feel like breaking up?

No do you feel like breaking up?

Who would die first in a movie like this?

Who would die first in a movie like this?

I had a lot of friends they’re gone
Every one of them’s moved on
But you’re the only one the only one
A better man would take a bullet for
Who would die first in a movie like this?
No one ever died in life by breaking up
Do you feel like breaking up?

No do you feel like breaking up?

No do you feel like breaking up?

No do you feel like breaking up?
Who would die first in a movie like this?
This is not the age of innocence
Who would die first in a movie like this?
These are the ways of the world we live in
